Last shot looks good. Heat shimmer looks much better now. Maybe blur the edges of the heat shimmer just to blend it a bit more and not have a hard edge to it.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
