After looking through your other edits, I would say you just don't know what you want to do.

I don't mean that in a horrid way, I mean that you seem to click buttons and see what they do (emboss it looked like on the microlight shot, and some sort of toon effect here) instead of applying various effects to make it stand out.

I think you should spend some more time on thinking what you want the shot to look like. I personally try and go for realism... so I adjust the lighting, add some shadows, reflections, real photographs etc.

Just try it. Don't go pressing buttons until you know what you want to achieve. Try improving the reflections on the water and adding some more shadows and darker tones to the image. You could try cutting out the flight sim sky and adding a picture of one you either photographed yourself or use an image which is made freely available on the internet.



Editing is great fun when you know what you want to achieve. Plenty of potential, but I just feel that you don't know what you want to get out of it.


Keep up with it, you'll enjoy it when you finally realise your style  ;)
