Hind on the Prowl.

Wow, this edit was a lot harder to make than I'd hoped. Anyhow, I suddenly got an urge to make an edited shot of an Mi-24v, which is a lovely beast of a helicopter. I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out, but there's still many aspects of it that could stand some improvement.

Also, about the rather motionless-looking rotors, I had tried to create a rotor blur effect, but I couldn't get it to look decent enough, so I just opted for static rotors.

Looks very nice indeed, could've blurred the rotor a bit more :)

The aircraft looks great, vey smart job :)

Think you should have a go at the rotors though, i know they are a bit** but it has to be done ;) SSA has some really got tutorials on them actually, you should go have a look, helped me a lot, though i still suck at them.

Cheers for the comments all. :)

For those that wanted the helo, it's Tim Conrad's Mi-24v package. Find it here. It's also available at Hovercontrol.

I think I might have a go at the rotors. I suppose I need the practice anyway, so why not start now? Keep an eye out for an updated version sometime soon.

EDIT: Here it is, all blurred up:

Not 100% happy with it, but it came out a lot better than I though it would.
