... This could be a huge problem... especially if the Tanker is completely full.  So the Tanker is going out to sea to get the aircraft out from over San Diego... Well i hope this try on smoke is better than the 27 flame out... well Enjoy!

Really good effort! The fire looks great!

I reckon if you made the smoke a little more transparent it would look a lot more realistic, and perhaps not have it spread out quite so much (ie because of the speed of the AC)

Have a look at this tutorial, helped me out a lot with smoke, and gives you a walkthrough guide at making an excelent brush for it :)

thanks for the link Cobra, but I don't have Photoshop... just PhotoImpression 4 which came with a dig. cam. but thanks anyways... Kerosene and oil don't burn dark in excess?
