737 leaving Seattle

Postby G-force237 » Fri Aug 15, 2003 12:06 pm

Here is a picture of the stock 737 taking off from Tacoma Intl airport, in the mid afternoon. As you will see, there is a little bit of a cold front moving in from the east causing clouds to start to form over the mountain.  8)

Please, tell me what you think :)

Impressive. :o  Looks like a painting.

It really does!  I like the wheels half-up.  Looks like something you might see behind the desk of a Boeing Exec.

Thank you for the responses. :)

I made a few small changes. some are noticeable just by looking at the picture, and some are not unless you take a look at the original. so here it is

Image
Several of the small changes included making the sky a little darker, more saturated, and then turning up the contrast on the 737.
For the lighting effects I made the sides of the clouds that faced the direction of the sun a brighter white, and then most noticeable, the darker spots on the corners of the picture.

As far as the painting look goes, I think the main reason that it had that effect, was due to the slightly darker, truer, colors that the picture had in it, and the look of stillness.
