Decided to take a look at FSX SE. Does seem to improve frame rates but not all addon s can be transferred from FSX. In particular Caranado sims ARE NOT COMPATIBLE. However, most of my freeware adds transfer and work fine. One of my golden oldies, a B25J, actually works better. Here are a few screens from the SE product.

Hello JP, my CARENADO TBM850 and CARENADO Piper Seneca Twin work flawlessly in FSX-SE.

Carenado addons for FSX work perfectly fine in fsx:se.
Perhaps it's merely a case of the installer unable to be directed to the staem folder properly?
