A P51 or that work commute to work and an F4-G for burning holes in the sky at the weekend 8-)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

While a spit is tempting I think I'd go for a Sea Harrier FA2...an unusual display aircraft fr airshows and can land anywhere.....plus you can take it for some fun around the loop :D

There is a gentleman who has a hangar here with the perfect combination of aircraft.

Baron 55 to travel with the wife
L-2 for those slow, cheap days
Teamrocket F-1 Evo, for the days you want to play fighter pilot or take trips solo.

Bell-Agusta 609 for trips under 150nm. :D

Cessna Caravan Amphibian for adventuring with the family.

Gulfstream V for traveling the rest of the world.

.....Oh also, for everybody that has a fighter, bomber or cargo plane in their list - a KC-135. ;D

Being the "Captain Sensible" that I am, and being well aware of the extortionate cost of owning and operating an Aeroplane;
as an alternative to my choice of the Cessna 150 Aerobat, I would choose the Thruster 600N Microlight/Ultralight, for reasonably affordable aerial transport!

Anything more exotic is purely in the mind of "Dreamers"...

...trust me... ;)...!

Most private, General Aviation Pilots don't have two Cents to rub together, holes in their shoes, and the arse out of their trousers!... :'(...!

I mostly flap my arms...and pretend!... :)...!

Paul...G-BPLF... ;D...!

I think that's the whole point of this topic Captain Sensible. If you had unlimited amounts of cash what aircraft would you like to own?

I couldn't afford to own any type of aeroplane, never mind a Spitfire, but everyone is allowed to dream. :P 8-)

If we're playing this game, then a Cessna A-37B Dragonfly. :-*

Do I even have to say? ;D

Douglas DC-3!

If I can't have one of those, a Cessna Citation Mustang.  Cool little jet, and solo pilot operable
