A Cessna 172

Cessna 150 Aerobat


The lack of imagination in this thread surprises me. The question implies that you have unlimited funds. This means that you could afford to own & operate any aircraft you fancy regardless of cost. The world is your proverbial lobster.

If this were possible do you mean to tell me that you would still choose a little Cessna trainer? Not sure I believe that. :-/ :P


I have an inherent fear of dying, Doug...

So, to be realistic, if I am to trust my luck skywards, it would have to be in an aircraft that I feel I could manage without risking my life and limbs..;)..!

The same goes for any vee-hickle, on land, sea, or in the air.... ;)...!

Bravery is not my middle name...trust me!...;)..!

When I first got FS9, I found and flew everything that went fast and high. Never once did I touch the props. I hated them, couldn't see the purpose.

After a few years of that, I joined SimV, and was introduced to 'bush' flying.  I've not turned back since.

In fact, my tastes have gone earlier and earlier as I go, and choice 2 after that C150 would without a doubt be a Fokker DVII.  8-)

Third choice is the Su-47. :P :D

It's hard to imagine having unlimited funds, yet being restricted to only one aircraft...

Fastest, highest, furthest, best avionics... etc...

F-35B... vertical take off speaks for itself (and supersonic) and to go camping.. yes... camping... VTOL into a clearing or something.

F-22....... fastest, highest..
