If you could take an hour flight in any aircraft, for free, what would it be?

Doesn't matter what kind of aircraft. Just let it out.  ;D Maybe this isn't a great, "If you could," but let's see what happens.

Of the aircraft I haven't flown in, a 4th generation US fighter would be at the top of my list. F-18, F-16, F-15, one of those.

Had a think about this one....free?....

Having watched "Ice Pilots" on the History Channel, I wouldn't mind a trip in a Douglas DC4, but by the time that huge thing has got up into the air, manoeuvred around a bit, and landed, the hour would soon be up and not gone very far!

So, for a practical, one-hour flight, and have time to take in all the scenery below, it would have to be my trusty Cessna 150/152 again...or, maybe, a Cessna 182RG for a little bit of extra speed?... ;)...!

..and remember, if he's paying for it, a one-hour flight for Captain Sensible in a C150/152 only costs him

I think I'd go for a Spitfire as my first choice.

Following that, I'd try to get on an old Huey (UH-1C, D, or H). Seen plenty of them, but I've never flown in one.

In GA, Cirrus SR-22. In the military section, either a F-22 or F-16. In the Commercial field, a Boeing 757 or 737.

Su-37 or Su-47, with one hell of a talented pilot at the controls, and with orders to make me puke!

Been in cigar tubes plenty of times, fighters don't interest me so I would go for a Piper Cub. Taking it low and slow.

Carlo ;) (or a Bo 105 helicopter would be fun too...)

This is tough one... but an hour or 2 flight in a U-2 would be something to never forget. Its not fast, but the views will more than make up for it!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Probably a F-22, SU-37 or SR-71.
The SR-71 would be neat because I could go from one coast to the other in my hour. :)

F/A-18F or a Piper Cub.

Although an hour of carrier ops in an F/A-18 would be pretty awesome, I've always wanted to take a flight in a Piper Cub.
