Do Cessna still make the original analogue cockpits on their 172 and 180? Or do they just do the Garmin cokpit?

After having a quick shifty over at www.cessna.com I have discovered that the G1000 is standard in all models of the 182 and the 172SP (the only model they still make )

So in answer to your questions......no.....yes

These can be sold second hand for more money, a lot of people also see planes as a investment so its logical for cessna to go down this road.

If you really want this plane check the second hand market, lots of cessna's going around there. You can usually find all the information you need on the internet databases.

G-1000s in everything, Corvalis (formerly cessna 400 and 350, formerly columbia 400 and 350), Mustang, Caravan, 182, 172, 206.  Even Beechcraft has G-1000's in the Bonanza and Baron.  Its nice to fly under instrament cross country conditions, but I kinda miss the steam gauges.
