Postby ShaneG_old » Wed Oct 01, 2008 12:38 pm

I think this is the DUMBEST thing an aircraft manufacture could ever do, please read at least the first page of this thread and let me know what you think of this, kinda explains why I can't find many gulfstreams.

Weird story... Not gonna wake any sleeping dogs on other well known freeware stuff and the involved names in that thread.

Why can some companies be so ignorant... just look at Project Tupolev for how it can be done also (they got official endorsement of the Tupolev factory to use their project as crew training material)

I dont think there steps are legal, because if the 3D model isnt exactly the same then they dont own anything about it. And im quite sure no 2 3d models are ever the same. They probably just did this out of ignorance of the subject and figured they could scare the guy.

I'd be willing to be that M$ paid a LOT of money to Grumman, Boeing, Bell, and all the other companies for the rights to use the names and models.
