Well, if you're including the 737 and 747 in their most general terms, they are not that much younger than the 10...

The VC10 is a 1960's aircraft that was dropped by most airlines before the end of the '70's.

They're all bad - some are just less bad than others. They're all just tubes full of people, with a pointy bit at the front and the back, and a cylinder hanging off each wing (With the exception of concorde, but that's not a modern one).
I suppose my answer, if I was pushed, would be the Airbus A380. Because that one isn't just a tube full of people. It's two tubes full of people, with two cylinders hanging off each wing
