I always wondered why the F-35 didn't have a HUD.

I'm no big fan of the JSF, but man that's a nice cockpit!
The helmet doesn't look too sharp though.

Well, they probably will be wearing flight gloves, so fingerprints won't be a problem.

HUD = more radar returns
And they still decided to go with a MB seat instead of the Zvezda (which has the highest survival rate in the market) that was planned first...
