My nieghbor owns a beautiful C210R that we fly every once in a while. It's a little heavy on the controls, but climbs like a beast and we do 160 knots just on local flights. You have to stay ahead of the airplane power setting wise and start slowing down before you enter the patteren so you don't shock cool that big engine out front. His airplane has radar, de-ice, and a GNS530 so you can pretty much take that airplane every were, I like it way more then the Navajo...........

Which brings to mind a night trip in a fully loaded 210.

When you take off the frame flexes and the door pops open. So we do that(I'm in the RH seat-slam door).

Then ATC comes on "*** are you going out at 500 or 5000?"  OOPS!!
White on White fly all night.

Red on White you're alright.

Red on Red you'll soon be dead.
