I was hoping they'd use alphabets kinda like the did with the 787...I thought 7E7 sounded alot cooler and a regular number...Think about it...7A7, 7B7, 7C7 etc etc all the way to 7Z7...That's 26 different models right there... :D ;)

It's the same with Airbus...What are they gonna do after that A390...Although these guys still have A360, A370 left to do...By the way, not all Boeing civilian jets ended with 7's...There was the Boeing 720 which lasted for a couple of years before eventually being replaced by the 707 ;)

The 720 was actually a derivitive of the 707.
