None, it all depends on who you talk to.

I thought that the Name Viper appeared at first when the Israeli's modded some of their Falcons? Eventually the F-16 Falcon was made suitable better for ground attacks? (Dunnmo though)
Falcon : King of the air
Viper: King of the Ground? (or at least a decent predator)
. The name Viper was around since the prototype stage (as being mentioned) and was mostly used by its pilots, who thought it looks more like a snake than a Falcon (and since Cobra was already taken by the YF-17, they went on the F-16 Viper).
Like a snake striking
Eh? Get it?I thought that the Name Viper appeared at first when the Israeli's modded some of their Falcons?

True, Israel (through collaboration with other countries i think) DID modify the original F-16 , however it was designated a whole new fighter, the F-2A. This was designed to be used as a fighter-bomber and boasted a new alloy body and the ability to carry long-range anti-ship missiles.
