Lavochkin LA-9 Test Flight

Postby Bazza » Tue Oct 11, 2005 2:04 am

Have just read the flight test of a restored Lavochkin, possibly the only one in the world, fascinating stuff.

If anyone has an interest in this aircraft, from a design point of view, or any other aspect, give me a PM with your email and I will scan and send you the "stuff."   also some neat photos if panel etc.

Sounds interesting Bazza. I wouldn't mind seeing some photos of it.

This is Fang's La 11 that we use in the Fox Four CFS2 Korea campaigns. It's AI Only & I'm not sure of the difference.

I take it that would be Ray Hanna's Old Flying Machine Company LA-9. Has that gone back to NZ now? I can't remember...

If that's the case I've seen it at Shoreham. Unfortunately it didn't land & I missed some great shots of it.

Sorry for the delay team, a mixture of Time Zones and my elderly monitor deciding to become land-fill.

I'll run off some pix as soon as my other life allows and post them here...
