Piper, Lancair, Mooney in wich category's?

Hi everybody,

  In wich category's you will classified those airplanes: Piper, Socata, Lancair, Money, etc?

Does somebody knows other mark of the same category's of those airplanes?

lancair is experimental
rest is GA

lancair is experimental


The new Columbias are certified, so some Lancairs are experimental.

I believe the ones your talking about are all ...

SEL-single engine land    aircraft
High Performance- engine has more than 200bhp
Complex- the aircraft has retractable landing gear, cowl flaps, featherable prop, and something else I cant remember

You can't really say that because not all of pipers aircraft are single or even piston for that matter ;)

hehe I was just trying to give some guidelines on how to classify an aircraft, I didnt think about people thinking I was laying done a generalization.
