Flag Day

Postby Apex » Thu Jun 14, 2018 6:49 am

"The reason we celebrate Flag Day is simple- it's the day that marks the adoption of the flag of the United States which happened on June 14, 1777, thanks to a resolution of the Second Continental Congress. Flag Day is also a special day for the United States Army because it's the day they celebrate their birthday."

Me?...

..I'm always a bit wary of; "Flag-Waving".... ;) ....!

Often used as a show of Power....!

Over here we have the "Union Flag" (The "Union Jack" is only used for Water-going Vessels).

As an English-man, the "English" Flag is the red cross of St George, which, unfortunately, is associated with Football hooliganism, so if I am going to show a flag, (which is unlikely), it will be the whole Union Flag.

Paul..."Flagging" due to excessive exercise whilst grass mowing... .... ...!
