On 19 August 2017 a search team financed by Paul Allen located the wreckage of the sunken cruiser in the Philippine Sea lying at a depth of approximately 18,000 feet (5,500 m).

Good point Shadowcaster. This will help:

It's not the researchers to worry about, it's everyone else.

It would be appropriate, if some if not all of the surviving crew could be taken back to the wreck site, so they can say a proper farewell to their lost shipmates and the ship that was so important to them. :flags-waveusa:
