one of these days, I'm gonna visit that, Sim' Vonian Museum and look at all the Flying machines, that Curator Pete has collected and those moto' bikes !

What is the origin of the British Museum? I've been there.

I was planning a trip to Washington in September, 2001, but things happened and I never got around to it after that. I think I'd enjoy the Air and Space Museum while the British Museum was more old stuff (Sutton Hoo, Rosetta Stone, etc.)

Another interesting Museum is The National Atomic Bomb Testing Museum in Las Vegas , Nevada

I went there in December 2013 and it was worth goin to, and look at all the stuff they had from the 1940 & 1950's & 60's doring the Atomic Age.

Wasn't too expensive either.

then I went over to the New Mob Museum in Las Vegas, it too was kinda cool, 3 floors of History took about 3 hours to go thru it.

Then the Elvis Museum inside Binions Casino was kinda cool as well.

I originally had planned on staying at the Sands Casino or the Dunes , but, I got out there and they weren't there

So, I thought I'd try the Aladdin, nope, it was gone too

OK, i'll stay at the Stardust ~ nope, it Disappeared too

I ended up stayin with, Ginger , I think that was her name, kinda friendly little gal

I seen a lotta Gingers out there lots to choose from

Bill Bryson's book "Made in America" covers this very subject. Very interesting, and of course funny (as he always is with what ever he writes).
