Eastern European art was always pretty strange. This one looks like it celebrates a victory over the Galactic Empire.

Looks as the artist was thinking about galactic empire with Me262 jets, V2's and all secret nazi paraphernalia...

I encountered this one in a decaying city park in Vanadzor, Armenia. The fist and square gun barrel were impressive. It made me think of the Morlock's sphinx in H.G. Well's The Time Machine. The circular design between the dates is the Armenian symbol of eternal faith, "World without end", often found on their classic and religious sculptures.
