Buran

Postby Webb » Sat Nov 16, 2013 3:52 pm

Twenty five years ago the Soviet space shuttle Buran completed its first and only flight, a two orbit unmanned test.

It was obsolete when it was built and the entire project was cancelled five years later.

The spacecraft was destroyed in a snowstorm in 2002.
