Apollo 17 returned to earth 39 years ago, December 19, 1972.

Gene Cernan was the last person to walk on the moon.

There's always been some controversy over the moon landings until a little known photo recently surfaced.

What is an Inertial Guidance System anyway?


Probably something akin to the the gyroscopic Inertial Navigation System platforms, this very day still used on many airplanes.
There is no such a thing as overkill. Only unworthy targets.
