Amazing pictures but, because of the technique you described, they feel too colorful, too saturated - like when Dorothy enters Munchkinland.

I remember doing a Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii project in an art class in year 7.

...They only look that way because the exposure is spot on perfect.
