1877 - The catcher's mask was first used in a baseball game.

1934 - 231 mph -- the highest velocity natural wind known in the world to date -- was recorded atop Mount Washington, New Hampshire.

1981 - The space shuttle Columbia, launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, became the first reusable manned spacecraft to travel into space.

2003 - The Columbia recycled itself.

Yep, truly eco-friendly. ;D

Union Flag or Union Jack.... ::)...?

I always use the term "Union Flag" unless it is flown from a ship.

...lovely, colourful design... ;)...!

I expect that it was more prominently displayed on ships, and not just HMS, than anywhere else -- especially in times past.

as quoted for HM, King James:

"joyned together according to the forme made by our heralds, and sent by Us to our Admerall to be published to our Subjects."... and you think you still speak and spell in English... if you'd only seen the original print of the KJV! :P ::) ;D

I'm not sure how that was recycling, and I don't think the design goal was to be eco-friendly.
Your comment doesn't make sense...  :-?

Oh, right, I forgot- you can't resist an opportunity to make light of a tragedy.

Reusable -> Eco-friendly (more than stock rockets anyways)
Recycled -> Eco-friendly

What am I supposed to do?
Show some "common sense" and post a sad, sad "OMG, that was so terrible" comment about a thing that I didn't have any relation with?

As I posted before:
Space travel is dangerous. The accident has happened and it had a good probability of happening. So it's just the "worst case" version of a space mission.
And yes, I know that those seven people had family and all...
