To alleviate the absence of historical posts, here's some for June 21:

In 1788, New Hampshire became the ninth state to ratify and put the United States Constitution into effect.

In 1921, for WW2 Era fans, Jane Russell was born -- 85 years ago (to save you doing the math).

In 1996, it was agreed to gradually lift the global ban on British beef exports due to 'mad cow'. Any of you Brits still claim to have one? ;D

In 2004, the first privately financed manned spaceflight, the SpaceShipOne rocket plane, breached Earth's atmosphere and landed in the Mojave Desert, California.

There you go, take your pick or add your own.

My Birthday...
Kinda makes your happenings rather small don't it. ;D
Not really... but it may change historical to hysterical... :).
Hope it was a real happy hysterical one now that it's history. :D

And, they're not my happenings, although:
I am in New Hampshire.
I've had an interest in WW2 (particularly airplanes[aeroplanes]).
I know of Jane Russel & I'm sure I've seen her in some late show sometime.
I've been charged at by one four-footed mad cow and a couple of two-footed ones.
However, the only outer space I've been in is shared with the rest of the world :P --
and then there's cyber space in which I interact, more or less, with my fellow twits. :o

...so goes my place in history...
