Well on this day in 1837 Victoria became the Queen of Great Britain and the Commonwealth.
And she was not amused

I'm guessing the photographer didn't have the spider puppet on his head for that shot.

Maybe if when he'd bent down behind the camera he'd farted she might have said something like "Now that was funny"

If i remember rightly, the "one is not amused" line came after she had read the works of a particular person, and like it so much that she asked to be sent his next publication. This turned out to be some highly complex scientific paper.. and the rest is history 8)

I know she is famous for "we are not amused", but a line in her diary actually said 'I was very much amused'. :o
