Amelia Earhart

Miss Earhart (Mrs G. Palmer Putnam), started a solo flight across the Atlantic from Harbour Grace (Newfoundland) at 11.15 on this night 73 years ago (B.S.T.). Her destination, Paris.
Thus she became the first woman to solo across the Atlantic :o

My missus take's about 10 different pairs whenever we go away.
