Postby Wing Nut » Mon Jun 21, 2004 1:37 am

With the new King Arthur film coming out, and the history channel propoganda hype, I got kind of interested in the Arthur legends.

I was turned off from the start by the warrior-queen Guinevere crap.

This is a little off topic, but as I recall there was a Celtic warrior-queen who led the Celts against the Romans and managed to defeat them in atleast one battle.

That was Boadicea or Boudica as it is now spelled.

The air speed velocity of an unladen swallow is actually 15 flaps per min, not 43, and the capitol of Assyira is Nineva. :o, too much time on my hands..... ;D
