A "Deceased People Month" would be more like an extended Memorial Day, relegated to all deceased people in general, but much more acceptable than a Satan's Month.

I put it in negative terms by making it "hooray!" and not, "lets remember our loved ones"
Saying hooray for people passing on is very not good.
But I can see where you're coming from.
I guess I should have gone into more detail. :-/
