Maybe my post is only a reminder to the community.During a search for Videos of Warbirds i discovered this http://www.lost-squadron.org/index2.htmlThe best thing is that it is possible to join the recovery Mission as a civillian!

No prob! The price for these "precious little Birds" just depends on in which condition you want to have it.
As recovered it will cost about 2 Million$,in full restaurated condition it will be 10 Million$! :o

Sure, if the government doesn't give us enough money, we've got to get it ourselves. ;)

Got the tools, got the specialists, got the motivation. ;D

It was never lost in the first place................they knew where to pick up the pilots. It should be the left behind to gather dust snow squadron.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
