70th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid

Postby wifesaysno » Tue Apr 24, 2012 1:25 pm

In honor of the 70th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid, the National Museum of the USAF hosted a spectacle unlike any other in the warbird community. Along with a reunion of the last living members of the Doolittle outfit, the museum also played host to dozens of B-25s!

Here is a video of the mass formation fly-over in honor of the Raiders, finishing it off with Missing Man formation.

Note the actual 70th anniversary was on the 18th.

Back in elem school in the 50's, Ted Lawson's '30 Seconds Over Tokyo' was so popular for awhile you had to put your name on a waiting list.
