Its amazing how an airplane is that old and is still be used tremedously.
Well maybe Airbus is trying to replace it with its A380 but I can see the 747 still being used when I get old maybe newer models or not because of the economybut it will get better and I can only imagine when im on my death bed what will be flying in the air.

It'll easily reach 60, if not 75. To be fair, it's a decent airframe design, in which they can "easily" incorporate modern technology, as they are with the 747-8, so really it's not surprising.
