Well, if Concorde was intended to be used for transatlantic flight and ONLY translatlantic flight, what killed it then?

Well, if Concorde was intended to be used for transatlantic flight and ONLY translatlantic flight, what killed it then?

Airbus stopped making spare parts for it.

Airbus stopped making spare parts for it.
The crash in france didn't help either.  :(

Imagine though if the Tu-144, the Concorde and the Boeing 2707 were all still flying at the same time. It would almost feel like the Jetsons.

That also couls mean that there could be a crash every two months.

I would like to see the concorde fly again too, but it was just too expensive to orperate so they had to shut it down. When it comes to translantic flying, only very whealthy people would fly the concorde, most people use either the A-340, 767-300ER,400ER or any type of 747.
