AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH

Postby Jayhawk Jake » Sun Mar 04, 2012 6:17 pm

I was just flying my RC plane and heard something flying overhead, but since I needed to focus on my plane I couldn't look....it happened to pass just right so I could catch a glimpse of it flying away...

IT WAS A DC-3!  MY FAVORITE PLANE, THAT I'VE NEVER SEEN IN THE AIR, AND I MISSED IT FLY DIRECTLY OVERHEAD!

So I repeat....AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

I had a similar situation last week. Out with my RC Heli. My youngest is mad about anything that flies. So there I am doing my thing, when he runs forward at I hover. As that put me off somewhat, the helicopter started to track in his direction. So I am left with the choice, helicopter hits small boy and survives :D The down side being the visit to the hospital and taking my child home with multiple lacerations :-[ (and explaining how he got them to his mother :-/) or dumping the helicopter into the ground and having a child in one bit with no surface imperfections.......................I am waiting for a spare part delivery as I type ::)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
