Any pictures of movie prop aircraft. Aircraft that were seen in movies or TV. Any type is fine but the more the better. I don't want screenshots, I want pictures of the actual aircraft. Thank you. Kind regards, Jeremy

Do you want the actual aircraft used or examples of the type?

This will give you a start. https://picasaweb.google.com/Grumpix/OldWardenOctober2009

The Bucker Bestmann in my photo is the actual one used by James Garner & Donald Pleasence in the film "The Great Escape".* The Avro 504K is the one featured in "Reach for the Sky" the classic film about legless fighter pilot Douglas Bader. The Avro Triplane, Blackburn Monoplane, Bristol Boxkite & Deperdussin were all used in "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines".

*PS. At the time the photo was taken the Bestmann was owned by Peter Holloway & regularly displayed at Old Warden. He sold it to a new owner in Germany last year. Sadly it crashed in April 2011 & looks to be a write-off. The pilot was badly injured. I don't know if he recovered. http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=32298

Awesome photography!! Being that you took the photos, what is the sound of the Lancaster comparable to? Was the B-17 actually dressed as Memphis Belle or was it another ship in the movie? Kind regards, Jeremy
