Um. This article doesn't say that but maybe you know more about it than me  :-? ...either way its just proving that as airplanes get bigger, airports stay the same size...

And besides, buses aren't supposed to fly.... ::)

All the technology on that airplane, you would think they could put a small camera on the wingtips with video relayed to the cockpit.  That would give the pilots a little better perception of where their wingtips are.

Now that u mention it. My sisters $18,000 ford has sensors for if something is in ur blind-spot. How doesn't something this expensive have some kind of warning?  :-?

As Matt said, I believe it was under tow at the time. Even if it wasn't it isn't a fault with the A380, it's a fault of the person who decided to take it down that particular taxiway without realising the clearance needed....

Love the shot of the winglet attached to the side of the building that's floating around :D

Hopefully it shouldn't affect sales at the airshow (I'd prefer to see the Korean Air one anyway  :D )

In defence (only slightly mind you) the largest aircraft this part of the airfield usually sees is a Lear jet

That is almost comical how the wingtip is sticking out of the side of the building.
