Forest Fire...

There's a big fire near one of the towns that I regularly fly in to.  Over 1000 people have been evacuated by air, by my company, about 6 or 7 others, and the military.  There are no roads to Wollaston, it is accessible only be air at this time of the year.  The airport was closed for a period yesterday because the fire was too close to the runway.  Saskatchewan's provincial waterbombers have been working this fire non-stop since Monday afternoon.  The Canadian Forces sent 4 CH-146 Griffons and 3 C-130 Hercs too help evactuate the last few hundred people.

Some of the aircraft used to evacuate have been, Saab 340's, ATR's, Dash-8's, Navajos, Twin Otters, King Air's, PC-12's, Metro's  multiple types of helicopters, and more...
