F-15E down in Libya

Postby patchz » Tue Mar 22, 2011 6:08 am

Initial reports state mechanical problems. Pilot is said to have been recovered by the rebels and is ok. WSO has yet to be recovered but is thought to be ok and location known. It is thought US Spec Ops are on the ground and may recover WSO soon.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Crew are fine, unfortunately that can't be said for the locals who rescued them  ::)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
