Great, isn't it? His shop is about 20 miles west of me, and my dad is really good friends with him. I'm actually going to be working with them pretty soon.

But, I think the blue 'fly' switch on the dash needs a safety cover, IF you can switch it with the engine running and it immediately engages the prop. The car is perfect, the airplane could use a bit more airspeed. $84,000 seems reasonable? Think I would like the off road version.

We have one in the works over this side of the pond... Gilo Cardozo and his Parajet company. With Bear Grylls he managed to get his powered paraglider to around 30,000ft about the Himalayas. His skycar was able to drive and fly from London to Tombouctou.
