Excellent!

I've been hoping that there would be pictures of the inside of the "Lun" posted one day.  :)

Thanks for finding this!
Really interesting plane. :)
Not sure if I'd fancy those living quarters though. :P What is it with the Russians and their turquoise cockpits?

What is it with the Russians and their turquoise cockpits?

That one I can actually answer....

From what I know, it had to do with a series of Russian psychological studies that indicated that blues and greens produced a "calming" effect. I've also heard that it was a little cheaper to use those colors too.
Notice also that Airbus cockpits are blue, and some old DC-9 cockpits use nearly the same green color:

Here's a nearly purple cockpit of a Dornier jet:

Overall, mainly it's about psychology. In current times, I think everyone (including the Russians) has switched over to either light gray or light blue.

Personally, I've used Cessna's with the following panel and or surrounding colors.
White upholstery with black & woodgrain/cherrywood panel.
Black panel with blue upholstery
Black panel with tan and red upholstery
Gray panel with gray upholstery.

I liked the black with blue, and the all gray options the best.
I kind of want to experience a "Russian Green" panel one day in my real world flying.

EDIT: Here are some more interesting images....

Poland apparently did not like Tupolev Green, so here is a Tu-154M with a beige panel. It certainly looks strange to me!

Here's a Tu-204 panel. Looks like they toned down the green a bit.
