Wow, that's actually really cheap (considering what it is). Let's wait for the prive to come down a little more and all toss in some money.

I have seen that aircraft for sale for years, with an ever decreasing price tag. I think they have discovered it just cost too much to keep it flying.

Considering a brand new C-182 with full G1000 and XM costs around 350,000 I'd say the sticker price on the jet is really good.
But like everyone else said the fuel adds up

And don't forget about maintenance, J 35 parts probably aren't as cheap or as widely available as C182 parts.

Fuel isn't the half of it. Saab parts are probably hard, if not impossible, to find. There are not many Saab qualified mechanics in the US. Plus given its age it probably requires 5 hours of service for every hour of flight.

You also have to take in to account that it hasn't flown for a fair few years and getting it back to full airworthiness could be very very costly...

I imagine eventually this aircraft will either go to a museum, get parked on a pole, or go to the scrap yard. If I remember correctly, it has been for sale for at least 5 years, and the price keeps getting lower. It was originally demilitarized and sold to be used in movies and television. Eventually it became too expensive to operate. Since then I believe it has been sitting.
