And im still a bit nervous.

All i've done my last flights has been pattern work just to prepare for a 1-2 circuit solo flight.

Would you recomend doing anything special to prepare for the flight?

The only thing that'll catch you off-guard.. is how well the airplane performs with just you in it.. 

Your instructor won't let you solo, until you're ready.. so just relax..

Special preparations... well... I can think of one, haha. Don't wear your favourite tie... if you wear dress clothes when flying. I made the mistake of wearing my favourite tie, and my flight school (along with many others) has the tradition of cutting your tie on your first solo... so now my favourite tie is in two pieces, and pegged to my cork board, haha. Aside from that though, just relax. If you can fly the airplane with your Instructor sitting next to you, not taking control or talking on the radio, then that means you can do it without him. If your Instructor believes you are ready, then you should believe you are ready, and through that confidence, you'll do just fine :0)

When your instructor casually says 'let's make this one a full stop', gets out and says 'give me three good ones', game on!

I'll tell you the same old thing I tell everybody... seems too obvious, but looking back, it was the most powerful realization I had after my first trip around the patch by myself...

By the time you're signed off to solo, you've already flown a few circuits and made fair landings on your own. The instructor was just sitting there, like a passenger. 
If a CFI is really good, they won't even say anything during at least one of those dual sessions; not until afterwards.

There's no trick to get rid of the nervousness, other than to advance the throttle and just do it. But try to remember that: "I've already done this by myself!" 

More advice: it is not a competition. Perfection is not what you're after. If you feel you need to go around at some point, just do it. If I were an instructor I'd be very happy to see a go-around on a first solo; shows good judgment.  Good judgment is more important than courage or natural ability when it comes to flying.
