I know. When I saw the first one last night I was like, "What the...." Then I looked at your picture a few minutes later and was like, "oh okay."

It kind of looks like they forgot to bolt something to the airframe in those compartments when the aircraft left the factory

I wonder how much difference they actually make. Looks more drag inducing then anything.
