Did another flight today at Tyabb in a Cessna 152, a new one too :P It was much better kept than the last one i went in :) and the instructor was a bit more friendly ;D

Anyway i did steep turns, a hover (because the wind was really strong), saw my house, saw my school, landed & took off (very hard in crosswinds :-/) and controlled the aircraft the whole time except when taking photos.

All the photos are on my Phone so i won't upload them til later.

This is the C-152 i went in, not sure if it's new but it's very well maintained :)

Glad you're enjoying your flying. It's a long time since I had anything to do with it but it all seems very different from my day.

Not sure I agree with taking photos during instruction. Call me old-fashioned but I think you should leave the camera on the ground & concentrate on the flying. It's costing you enough. :P

They stopped production of the C152 in 1985 so it's not as new as it looks.

No this was for Aviation class so it was costing me nothing. I asked the instructor if i was allowed to use the camera too so don't worry about it :P

It's really fun getting up in the air ;D

I'm not worried or suggesting you did anything wrong. I'm sure your instructor knows what he's doing. I'm just an old git with old-fashioned ideas. :D

Maybe in an airliner. ;) I can't really see how a phone could mess up any of the planes' electronics.

May be a bad idea to have a phone on when doing navigation work w/ VORs & NDBs, but in this case there shouldn't have been a problem. That is an absolutely lovely & classy livery on that aircraft! I wish we had them painted up like that around here.

Yep it's fantastic and i didn't mean new sorry i chose the wrong word i ment to say something more on the lines of well maintained, it also has new radio in it instead of the standard ones and some really comfy headsets  :)

They recently overhauled a C-152 there but it doesn't reach Max RPM at the moment, they suspect it's the new propeller so they are getting a new one.
