They should all be alive, but that is what happens with aviation and Third World Countries. Yemamia are banned from Europe due to very slack maintenance standards. They are on the European black list and on watch lists for several other countries. This particular aircraft was grounded 2 years ago due to several major maintenance issues (read structural defects/corrosion).
