For the first time an Iraqi Air Force student pilot has been awarded his wings to the same standard as all RAF multi engine pilots. Good for him. :) Hopefully more will follow, and he can take his experience back to the fledgling training units in his homeland.

Reading the report, it's a little intriguing that he did his English language course after doing his officer training at RAF Cranwell!

All credit to him, Hope he manages to put it to good use on his return.

Matt

PS "Wam" has gone up in the world, I remember strapping him in as a Flt Lt and as a Squabbling Bleeder into Gr3's and 5/7's

does he have to dig his aircraft out the sand first before he can fly though? lol
