Flight 114

03-29-01

C172M

2N8-local

0.6 solo; 3 landings

"Not too bad considering...started raining after 3rd landing; rain stopped after I parked (of course)... one go-around."

I know the weather is chancy today, but it's been months since I've done any flying, and I have booked enough time for some pattern work. Conditions are still pretty good when I arrive at the field.

I take off and do my usual stuff, making some acceptable landings, despite having to go around once after finding myself out of whack on short final... then the rain begins to fall as I taxi for the fourth takeoff.

The ceiling seems the same as before, but it's raining pretty steadily now, and I'm not comfortable with the idea of going up into what could become a real downpour, so I return 3KK to her tiedown.
As soon as the plane is secure, the rain stops.
