A BBMF Spit and Hurri were due to appear at North Killingholme and Scunthorpe today, so may explain it, and even then 20 miles isn't that far in aeroplanes the do 2-3 miles/minute. May have just been holding for Waddo.

Indeed...this was one spit and the Lanc, but two had gone over seconds before which i didnt see, but they sounded 'merlinish' so im guessing these where either spits or a spit and a hurricane...!
